Wyplay welcomes Spideo as new Licensee, joining more than 149 companies in the Frog by Wyplay Community.
Spideo provides recommendation technology helping viewers discovering TV shows and movies they love, and content providers understanding and monetizing their user’s content consumption.
This partnership will see the integration of Spideo’s personalization solution, including profile-based recommendation and mood-based Discovery, into the Frog Premium end-to-end product, which will allow Frog members and Wyplay customers, with a pick and choose approach, to deploy and deliver personalized TV and video services to consumers.
Spideo technology integrated with Frog By Wyplay open source middleware, will offer a truly next-generation content discovery experience that will connect consumers to find the content they really want. It will also provide pay-TV operators with valuable and deeper insights into their subscribers’ interests, hence helping them increase user loyalty, optimize marketing strategies and accelerate revenue.
After a 1st showcase together at the last January’s CES show, Wyplay and Spideo will reiterate the great experience and co-exhibit again at the upcoming NAB Show next month (24-27 April).
